Update - December 15th...
We have just completed our Memorial Weekend Programs. Friends and associates from all across the world gathered at Synchronicity Sanctuary and thousands more participated via teleconference and streaming video podcast, as Master Charles Cannon and the Synchronicity Community mourned the tragic loss of Alan and Naomi Scherr.
On Saturday evening, December 13th, Master Charles Cannon offered a Memorial Program in which he shared his holistic perspective in a fifty minute address, followed by chanting of the Divine Name and meditation. Broadcast via live teleconference to our international audience, thousands of Synchronicity associates worldwide participated. The program concluded with Master Charles personally greeting everyone in attendance. Long lines of people waited patiently to receive his comfort and blessing. He continued for two hours until everyone had been received.
On Sunday morning, December 14th, from 8 am to 12 noon, the Vedic Funeral Ritual and Yajna was performed by Vedic Brahmin Priest, Ramesh Venkatachalam. Master Charles, Kia Scherr, family members and close friends participated.
At 12 noon, the Eternal Memorial Flame in honor of Alan and Naomi Scherr was lit from the Yajna fire. It was sponsored by Donald and Catherine Marks and Family. It is positioned in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother at the public apparition site known as the Shrine of the Heart.
The Memorial Service began at 1:30 pm. Hundreds attended in person and countless thousands participated via live streaming video podcast. Dr. Phil Duncan, Vice-President of Synchronicity Foundation, officiated as Master of Ceremonies. Speakers included… Marc Scherr, Alan's brother, Aaron Butler brother of Naomi, Adam Butler brother of Naomi and Naila Alam on behalf of Dr. Mohammed Alam CEO of Express Care and Hussein Haqqani the Pakistani Ambassador to the United States. Master Charles Cannon delivered the eulogy. Musical offerings included… Marina Raye, the Feminine Voice of the Native American Flute, Virginia Schweninger Harpist and Marcia Thom Sprano with their rendition of Shubert's Ave Maria. As a musical conclusion, everyone sang along to Neil Young's recording of the John Lennon song, Imagine, which was one of Alan Scherr's favorite songs. Master Charles and Kia Scherr then received everyone in attendance which continued for another two hours. Dinner was served thereafter for everyone in attendance. Many notable religious and secular dignitaries were in attendance. The Memorial Service was covered by all major media.
As the glare of the media spotlight now diminishes and family members, guests and associates slowly depart, the grey December winter envelopes the Sanctuary and invites us all inward to the quiet stillness of our meditative focus. We will remain secluded though Christmas and re-emerge for the New Year Recovery and Renewal Retreat, December 29 through January 1st. Everyone is cordially invited to attend this special retreat with Master Charles.
Once again, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for your love, compassion and kindness during this tragic experience. Your countless email messages, cards, letters, flowers, gifts and donations are deeply appreciated. Please know that you have made a difference and your tsunami of love has filled us to overflowing.
Our injured and recovering members… Rudrani Devi and Linda Ragsdale have returned home and are continuing their healing surrounded by family and friends. Michael Rudder will return home later this week. Please keep them in your loving and healing focus.
All other members of the Mumbai group have returned home and are appropriately journeying the post traumatic stress syndrome process. Please hold them in your loving and healing focus as well.
Kia Scherr remains here at Synchronicity Sanctuary. She is surrounded by our loving community as she grieves and heals. She deeply appreciates your loving focus.
Master Charles will remain secluded and mostly silent through Christmas. He sends you all his love and blessing.
In conclusion, on behalf of Master Charles Cannon and the Synchronicity community, I take this opportunity to thank you again for all that you give. There are no words to adequately convey the difference that you make. Just know that we are deeply grateful.

Message from Master Charles Cannon
I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your love and support in the midst of this most tragic experience.
As I write these few words, tears fall from my eyes. Yet, while I am humanly sad and grieving, I remain wakeful of the divinity of life and my soul rests in the blissful peace of Source Consciousness.
I love each and every one of you with all my heart and soul, and hold you in my Sourceful awareness.

Update - December 5th...
Following their rescue from the Oberoi Hotel by the Indian Army Commandos and Special Ops Units, Master Charles and the Synchronicity Group were met by the Indian Government, American Consulate and FBI representatives. They were relocated to the Four Seasons Hotel and surrounded with tight security. All essential services including medical were immediately provided. Soon thereafter, Master Charles began receiving many visiting dignitaries and friends. They included the Consul General of the American Consulate and various Staff Members of both the American Consulate and FBI in whose custody the group remained until repatriated to the USA. The Canadian and Australian Consulates and their representatives were also of invaluable assistance. His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nityananda Saraswati visited along with His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishveshwarandand Saraswati and members of their respective communities. They lovingly offered everything at their disposal to Master Charles and the Synchronicity community. Master Charles also received the Sachdeva family, Mataji Santosh, Gautam, Nikki, Shibani, Vilas and many of their mutual friends. Master Charles also received phone calls from many international spiritual leaders, including Her Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi and His Holiness Swami Shankarananda Saraswati who lovingly offered their assistance. Eckhart Tolle also offered his kind and compassionate assistance. Master Charles also met with the entire Synchronicity Group before retiring for the night.
Early the next morning, Master Charles was taken to visit the wounded and recovering Synchronicity members at the Bombay Hospital. Thereafter, he returned to the Four Seasons Hotel for an international press conference during which he gave his first formal statement and answered questions. He then received more visiting dignitaries and friends, and more international phone calls until late into the evening.
At 2:45 am the next morning, he was escorted by the American Consulate to the Mumbai International Airport and departed for the USA. During a brief layover in Doha, Quatar, he was met by the American Consulate and graciously hosted by the management and staff of Quatar Airlines. He arrived at Washington Dulles Airport at 6 pm on Monday, December 1st and was met by the FBI. He returned home to the Sanctuary around 9:30 pm.
Immediately following his return, Master Charles met with the Foundation management, followed by his parents and family members, Kia Scherr and her sons, and then the resident community. After retiring around 1:30 am, he arose at 5:30 am and began a full day of media interviews. He appeared live with Kia on the Today Show and Good Morning America, and taped a longer interview with ABC News Washington. He and Kia then appeared before an International Press Conference that included all international, national and local media outlets. Later that evening, he and Kia appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live. Between media interviews, Master Charles continued to receive many phone calls before retiring for the night.
The following day, Wednesday, December 3, he was interviewed by India Today Magazine, conducted administrative meetings, received more phone calls and held a reception for the entire local Synchronicity community and their friends.
The days following up to the present continue in the same format… administrative meetings, reception of visiting guests, media interviews and phone calls. He is fully participating in planning the Memorial Services for Alan and Naomi Scherr.
Kia Scherr remains here at the Sanctuary. She is attended by transpersonal psychotherapist Kathryn Leeman, PhD, and Karrie Wallen, who are assisting her in the grieving process. She is surrounded by our loving community as she journeys the tragic loss of her husband and daughter.
The three injured Synchronicity members, Michael Rudder, Rudrani Devi and Linda Ronsdale remain in Bombay Hospital and are recovering. Their family members have joined them and they are lovingly assisted by the Sachdeva family and our many Indian friends and associates. They are under the protection of the American Consulate, the FBI and the Canadian Consulate, and they will soon return home.
All remaining members of the Synchronicity Group have returned home to their various countries and are in the recovery process.
A Memorial Weekend Program and Service are scheduled for December 13th and 14th. Master Charles will offer a special meditation program and international teleconference on Saturday, December 14th. The Memorial Service for Alan and Naomi Scherr will take place on Sunday, December 15th. It will include a Vedic Funeral Ritual conducted by Brahmin priests, a Eulogy program with many guest speakers and a special reception with Master Charles and Kia Scherr. It will be covered by all major media with many spiritual and secular dignitaries in attendance. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Many Synchronicity Associates have arrived at the Sanctuary and are providing invaluable assistance. Also, many individuals from other spiritual communities have likewise come to assist and we are deeply grateful for their love and compassion. We offer our gratitude to Her Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi and the Humanity in Unity Community. They have filled Master Charles house with flowers and provided professional healing assistance as well as every possible service.
Email messages, letters, cards, flowers, gifts, donations and phone messages continue to pour in from all across the globe. We are awash in a tsunami of love and are deeply grateful.
All previously scheduled programs at the Sanctuary through Christmas have been cancelled. They have been replaced with the Memorial Weekend Program, December 13th and 14th, and the New Year Retreat, The Power of One, Recovery and Renewal, with Master Charles, December 29th through January 1st. We welcome everyone who would like to be with Master Charles and the Synchronicity Community for these very special programs. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend either of these programs as large numbers are expected for both.
