| | | | In a recent meditation study group, we were three students and our instructor. One student said something about Fear being the opposite of Love. Another student said, 'I thought Hate was the opposite of Love.' The last student said that Indifference or Uncaring was the opposite of love. Our instructor said that M.C. has stated that Fear is the opposite of Love. After a little reflection, I tend to think that Love is too big to be the opposite of any one of those three.
Any thoughts? ________________________________________________________________ Hello friend - there are no absolutes in relativity - so all views are valid.
In the sense that love expands, fear contracts. As love embraces, fear pushes away. As love affirms, fear denies or negates.
Hate is said to be an expression of fear. So, MC holds that love and fear are the most basic opposing polarities in the emotional dimension. But see what works for you.
