| Starting on October 29th, escorted visits to the Blessed Mother Apparition site will begin promptly at 4:15pm daily (please plan to arrive at the Sanctuary Atrium at 4:00pm). We strongly suggest calling the Sanctuary (757.644.3400) prior to coming for a visit, as these times are subject to change.
The Blessed Mother Apparition site is an open-air pavilion located in a wooded area within the Sanctuary and is accessible within 10 to 15 minutes via a walking path. As there are some steep inclines along the way, it is recommended that you wear exercise shoes and appropriate clothing for outdoor weather. We will spend about 30 minutes at the apparition site and the visit overall takes approx. one hour.
