| Each pendant in the Chakra Series is created by artist and jewelry designer Karla Refojo. They are handcrafted of copper repousse, a traditional metal working process of the Newari community of Nepal that requires great skill to master. Each piece is fused with 24 karat gold and set with gemstones that harmonize with each chakra according the Vedic tradition, yielding a uniquely exquisite piece of wearable art. The third center is called the Manipura center and has ten petals. It is located behind the navel, and gives us the power to sustain ourselves. On the physical level, it governs the functions of the solar plexus. The Manipura pendant is set with a citrine or topaz gemstone. |
