Each pendant in the Chakra Series is created by artist and jewelry designer Karla Refojo. They are handcrafted of copper repousse, a traditional metal working process of the Newari community of Nepal that requires great skill to master. Each piece is fused with 24 karat gold and set with gemstones that harmonize with each chakra according the Vedic tradition, yielding a uniquely exquisite piece of wearable art. The Muladhara pendant is set with a garnet gemstone.
Also known as the root chakra, it is the seat of the Kundalini and is located at the base of the spine. The power of this chakra establishes us in the earthly experience.
